In order to…

-protect the copyrights of photos shot and uploaded by contributors (participants)

-display photos with better resolution for effective identification of species

-share photos and information with everyone in the manner that meets the ideal(spirit) of Open Definition and Open Data, making the most of those data through the power of masses.

All of the materials, according to contributors ’(participants’) authorization or proclamation, will be displayed in the way with most flexible usage in public.

We've selected two General Public Licenses as follow for members to choose.

1. CC BY 3.0 TW and later

Public can copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, under the condition that users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. Statement: Users can use the photo in anywhere, including commercial purposes. But no matter how you use it, you must give credit to the contributor by displaying his/her name, pen-name or other designate information. Users can also use the photo to produce new works.

2. CC0 1.0

The person who associated a work with this deed has dedicated the work to the public domain by waiving all of his or her rights to the work worldwide under copyright law, including all related and neighboring rights, to the extent allowed by law. Public can copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, all without asking permission. For sharing materials, this is a way to the fullest extent, permitted by applicable law.
